At Auntie Anne’s, we are proud to offer our guests more than just a tasty pretzel.
We also serve timeless memories and family experiences. Hearing from our guests about why Auntie Anne’s holds a special place in their heart just makes our day. So, we reached out to three of them and asked if they would share their pretzel stories. Sure makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, huh?
“I grew up with 3 siblings, so alone time with mom was limited. But every so often, mom would take me on a mother/daughter date. We would go to the mall, but I don’t really remember shopping for anything. I do remember that each and every time we went, we got pretzels from Auntie Anne’s. We’d sit near the fountain and enjoy our pretzels and our time together.
Because that is such a wonderful memory about my childhood, I’ve been so excited to share it with my kids. Now that they are 1, 3, and 5 years old, they are old enough to understand that any time we go to the mall, we must get Auntie Anne’s pretzels to share. Even the baby loves them! I’m always watching for coupons so that we can stop and have a special treat, and my kids and I just love the pretzels and cheese. The consistent taste and quality of Auntie Anne’s have us hooked and I can’t wait to share many memories with my kiddos!”
“My favorite is your sour cream & onion pretzel/nuggets and occasionally your pretzel dogs! My daughter’s current favorite is your jalapeno pretzel & your jalapeno/cheese pretzel dogs.
Now, my daughter is 20 years old! When she was little I would take her and her friends (for her birthday party) near an Auntie Anne’s location and buy a bunch of items for the kids. She still remembers them! I believed she was about 7 or 8 when the pretzel dogs came out. The kids (at her birthday) were thrilled and still today if we are in the mall, we go for that (pretzel dogs) plus her favorite of the “season” and me, sour cream & onion 🙂
“My love for Auntie Anne’s pretzel started back in 2002. I was in high school at the time and my mom would take my sisters and I shopping at Walmart on the weekends. We were always excited about our Walmart shopping trip because it meant time spent with family, building memories and having Auntie Anne’s pretzel for a snack! At that time, Auntie Anne’s pretzel was located inside Walmart Supercenter and the first pretzel I ever tried is the same pretzel I love to this day. It was the Glazin Raisin. It was love at first sight, surely the sweetest thing I ever tasted.
Over the years, Auntie Anne’s pretzel has been a staple for my sisters and me as we always have to visit one when we visit any mall. Over 14 years later, I am a mother now and my 4-year-old daughter enjoys the pretzels just as much as my little sisters and I once did when we were younger. Every time we visit the mall, my daughter enjoys the cinnamon sugar bites and my husband loves the pepperoni pizza pretzel. I can appreciate that not only does Auntie Anne’s offer quality taste but has grown with a menu full of tasty treats. There’s nothing on the menu that I haven’t tried and even the drinks are great!
I always have a great experience when I visit! The original Raisin pretzel with icing is still my favorite to date, but I have grown to enjoy the up to date menu choices as well. I can honestly say that Auntie Anne’s Pretzel means so much to me throughout my life and surely my family could agree. It is my happiness and undoubtedly my sweet tooth. Thank you Auntie Anne’s for being such a great staple in my life!!!!”
